I have never been one to ‘conform’ and like to do things differently. If you want to share your passions and love for the otherworldly world of animals and create something unique and special then lets’ chat.
My Story
As a child I adored animals and I loved to draw and paint them. I was particularly obsessed with horses and was pretty clear about my desires to learn how to ride at 8 years old (nothing was going to stop me)
The younger me, fell into the trap of believing other people’s stories “to get on in life you need a proper job, be a lawyer, a doctor, a dentist”.
I picked law and I was pretty good at it (if I do say so myself). As a pragmatic, straight talking, common sense kinda girl the law worked for me on many levels and the tools of my career as a solicitor shaped my life experience.
Ironically, I spent the next 20 years of lawyering, striving to re-connect with nature as City life and a professional career started to take its toll.
However, I never stopped painting, just for me and just for fun and as my artistic skills gained momentum the commission requests flowed in.
Consciously choosing to follow my dreams I finally abandoned a successful London career and re-located to the UK countryside to surround myself with animals and pursue my career as a professional artist.
Why Am I Different?
I was initially drawn to portray animals as this reality sees them and my commissions took the form of traditional portraits.
Although I continue to accept these commissions, I find joy in pushing the boundaries and portraying animals as expressive and magical beings which transport us beyond our vision into another reality.

Imagination is the most important tool in our tool box. Without imagination where would we be? No art, no music, no tools, no fun! Imagination gives us ambition, adventure, exploration and the ability to create not only in our mind but in this reality.
I believe that our connection with the earth and its inhabitants both seen and unseen, ignites our imagination and drives us to explore the insatiable curiosity for creating new magical possibilities.
The vision in your mind already exists, it is the substance of dreams and evidence of things not seen. What you create in your imagination will materialise in your reality.

I paint what I see in my mind not what I see in this reality and I use my intuition to connect to you and your animal to create a masterpiece which resonates with your magical desires.
My magical portraits explore an animal’s own voice. This is an exploration of who they are and how they wish be portrayed, a depiction of their story and life (whether in this lifetime or another).
These portraits are as unique as you and your animals.
